A Note From Our Founder
Cypress & Sage Press began with a simple idea: professional publishing should be accessible, transparent, and built around the author and the book.
I’ve sat where many authors sit now, holding a manuscript that matters and trying to navigate an industry that can be expensive, confusing, and unnecessarily complicated. I know what it is like to compare publishing options, wrestle with formatting and distribution, and wonder who you can trust with something you have spent months or years creating.
So I built the kind of publishing company I wanted to work with.
Cypress & Sage Press is an independent boutique publisher and professional author services company supporting writers at every stage of the publishing process. We provide editing, book formatting, cover design, self publishing assistance, distribution support, and publishing services tailored to the needs of each author and each book.
For manuscripts we believe are a strong fit for Cypress & Sage, we also offer publication under our imprints with clear terms and a genuine partnership between publisher and author.

Everything we do at Cypress & Sage Press is guided by three simple purposes: to entertain, to teach, or to uplift. The books we help bring into the world should accomplish at least one. The best often accomplish all three.
To Entertain
Stories matter. We welcome compelling fiction, memoir, poetry, children’s books, and other works that transport readers, stir the imagination, make us laugh, make us feel, or simply make it difficult to put the book down. Great storytelling needs no justification beyond the experience it gives the reader.
To Teach
Books have the power to expand what we know and how we understand the world. We welcome nonfiction, history, educational books, personal and professional development, cultural works, and stories that allow readers to discover something they did not know before.
To Uplift
Some books leave us different than they found us. We welcome works that inspire, encourage, challenge, heal, strengthen, or offer hope. Whether through faith, personal growth, resilience, connection, or hard earned wisdom, these are books that give something meaningful back to the reader.
